How quickly we reply
We answer every enquiry within one working day, Monday to Sunday. Write in the evening or at the weekend and you can expect a reply the next morning.
A first reply usually asks two or three questions — dates, party size, and anything you already know you want to see — so that what follows is a plan rather than a price list.
Office hours
Our consultants are available Mon–Sun · 09:00–21:00 GMT. Messages sent outside those hours are picked up the following morning.
If you are already in China when you write, note that the mainland runs eight hours ahead of GMT (seven when the UK is on BST). The one-working-day reply still applies.
What to include in your message
The more you tell us at the start, the fewer emails it takes to reach a plan.
- Your travel dates, or the month you are considering.
- How many people are travelling, and their ages if any are children.
- The cities or regions you already want, and the ones you are happy to skip.
- Your budget per person, land only.
- Anything that shapes the trip: dietary needs, mobility, a fear of heights, a birthday.

We work in English. If you need another language on the ground, tell us early and we will confirm what the guides in that region can offer.
